Final for my Advanced Life Drawing/Anatomy class. Assignment was to choose a well known cartoon character and create the bone structure in the designated style of that character.
So the first one was traced on a light tracer because I don't have time to get the style down to the exact. If I had more time I would have spent a lot more time on getting it right, but I just don't have that sort of time or motivation. Easy, yes. But I don't care. So that style isn't mine, I don't claim it whatsoever.
The drawing of the bone structure was created by me based on that style. I doubt it's completely accurate. I very highly doubt it, but close enough. The ears were debateable on whether or not to include bones into the ears. Most ears of creatures don't include bones, rather cartilidge and muscles that control their movement. So that's what I have here.

Edit: I wish I had macromedia flash and knew how to do that rollover thing where the picture fades to reveal what's underneath. I remember seeing a tut for it, but I can't remember where.
I wouldn't think there'd be any bones, if any maybe the upper ridge. But to be honest it would be composed of cartilage and muscle only. There are smaller tiny bones in the inner ear of some animals but I don't think this one would have those.
I think if they did, there wouldn't be enough support on the head to keep them up that high for very long, not to mention a few other factors. I thought about it for a while and it didn't just seem to work with the rest of it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
